BIKE MS AMBASSADOR PROGRAM

ild bike ms ambassador program imageDo you attend other cycling events throughout the year? Do you find yourself talking about Bike MS and the experiences you’ve had at Tour de Farms? If so, the Ambassador Program may be for you!

We are looking for Ambassadors to attend monthly featured rides and act as Bike MS representatives, where other Bike MS participants or non-Bike MS participants can come meet you to get registered for Bike MS: Tour de Farms, win some fun Swag, and learn about the event. The overall goal is to promote and register participants for Bike MS while at other cycling events!

If interested in learning more or becoming a Bike MS Ambassador, please contact Melissa Foley at Melissa.foley@nmss.org or 312-423-1140.

BIKE MS PROFILED RIDER

ILD Bike MS profiled riders - Allen & BrandonProfiled Riders are individuals who are involved with Bike MS in a variety of ways. They inspire others to accept the challenge and do something more.

Family Riders - Allen & Brandon Joffe

While brainstorming ideas for his son Brandon’s mitzvah project—an event to give back to the community for his Bar Mitzvah—Allen Joffe was inspired by his college roommate, Mitch, who is living with MS. When Allen explained that Mitch was incapable of doing many of the things that we take for granted with his own kids, such as playing soccer and throwing a Frisbee, Brandon was instantly “sold” on the idea of riding and fundraising for Bike MS: Tour de Farms.

“Brandon decided to do the Tour de Farms and told me I was riding with him,” said Allen, who credits his son completely for their participation in the event. “I didn’t even have to think about a response—I was in from the time he decided that was going to be his project.”

For Allen and Brandon, Bike MS isn’t just an opportunity to support a great cause by fundraising and riding for MS; it’s a chance for them to connect as a family. Learn more about this profiled rider >>

REGISTRATION MINIMUMS

To continue our efforts to find a cure for MS, every rider is required to raise a minimum of $300, even tandem riders (registration fees are not applicable).

The $300 minimum must be met in order to pick up your rider number. If the minimum is not met by that time, the person will be required to fill out a promise to pay form ensuring payment by July 31.

The promise to pay form requires that you provide a valid credit card number to be charged only if the $300 minimum is not met by the July 31 deadline. Multiple follow-ups will take place before any credit cards are charged.
